We are excited to invite you to the Stall Catchers Annual International Catchathon 2023, partnering with SciStarter and celebrating Citizen Science Month!
We’ve really missed big Stall Catchers competitions, so this year for the first time we are extending our International Catchathon to a full week! - (That's 168 hours of catchers from all around the world finding stalls to help speed up Alzheimer's research!)
Last time, participants analyzed the equivalent of 62 hours of laboratory work. This year, we are hoping to beat that record with your help!
📆 When?
The Catchathon will kick off with a webinar on March 31st (12:00 to 13:00 GMT-4) and the Grand finale will be on April 7th (12:00 to 13:00 GMT-4).
You and your team will have all week to sort through as much data and do as much science as possible!
🤔 How to participate?
We welcome teams and individual catchers from all over the world to join us in this one-week catching marathon.
Sign up your team (or yourself if you are more of a lone wolf) here and we will send you all the information on how to join the Catchathon and our webinars.
👾 What is a Catchathon?
A Catchathon is a catching marathon of the Stall Catchers citizen science game. Anyone can organize an in-person meet-up in their local pub, school, library, hackerspace or anywhere else! It’s also fine to have virtual teams, or even play on your own as a member of “Team Humanity”!
We look forward to see you during the Stall Catchers Annual International Catchathon 2023! You can start immediately by registering right here 👇🏼
