There is still time to accept “Your Research Mission” on SciStarter and get some prizes!!
On April 14 SciStarter launched a Mission for Citizen Science Day on their platform. It runs until May 14, and includes Stall Catchers!
How to participate? If you have a SciStarter account, all you have to do is login and look for the "Your Research Mission" banner on the home page. It will guide you to join the projects included in the mission. If you don't have an account yet, you will have to sign up.
Why participate?Well, first and foremost - to celebrate science and try out different citizen science projects! Plus, if you participate in 3 out of the 8 selected projects, you’ll earn a SciStarter certificate and can even get some free swag and the chance to chat with the scientist you helped.
What's cool about the SciStarter dashboard? It tracks your contributions across citizen science projects! Stall Catchers is one of the (first!) affiliate projects, so if you participate in Stall Catchers, you can see how much you're contributing on your SciStarter dashboard.
Badgesss !!!Yep, you can continue to collect citizen science badges for the 8 projects above AND compete for the SciStarter Explorer mission badge.
Find the details on how to claim your digital badges here (scroll to "SciStarter Explorer" badge).
Have fun!! 🙌
Well done #citizenscientists ! On #CitSciDay2018 , you joined more than 180 #citizenscience projects through SciStarter and made over 17,000 new contributions to six projects featured on Your Research Mission! Keep going! https://t.co/HfLLvAgzoJ pic.twitter.com/WzRvK4cCgf
