Description:
This ECSA 2020 side event was held at 1500CET, on Sept. 11, 2020, and hosted by Libuše Hanna Veprek and Pietro Michelucci from the Human Computation Institute. Participants included 96 citizen science volunteers and practitioners, domain researchers, and IRB experts representing 23 countries on six continents. The main topic was how ethical guidelines for citizen science might differ from traditional research ethics, and what values we might bring to that discussion.
